I have the front triangle brazed up on the frame for Dirk. I still have some clean up and such to do but I need to get the rear triangle started. I have been doing some figuring on a jig for doing the rear. I need a simpler, more efficient way. I have to get the machine shop to make me some pieces still but I'm getting closer to getting it done.
Here is a sneak peek at what's up:

Rear triangle fixture |
Another frame that I am working on gets a wishbone rear end. I like this look a lot. This particular one has a seat tube that has a socket cast into it that accepts the wishbone top extension. I worked a little bit on getting the tube mitered to the back of the seat tube.
After I finish up this rear triangle fixture, I will get the chainstays brazed in. After that I can figure out where the wishbone needs to be and braze that to the top tube extension. Then I can work down from there to finish up the seatstays.
Stay tuned!

Hi Will! Glad to hear things are coming along. Riding season is coming, though I anticipate another good six weeks of skiing, what with this snowpack.
